Xanadu Wines from Margaret River has taken out top honours for Most Outstanding Cellar Door Facility/Wine Tourism Facility at the ANZ WA Wine Industry Awards.
Rounding out its second year back in family ownership and just one year after a major refurbishment, the award tops off an outstanding couple of weeks for the winery winning the Western Australian Tourism Winery of the Year and Gold Plate awards in the categories of ‘Restaurant within a winery’ and Prix D’Honneur status for ‘Licensed Dining – Country’.
“Xanadu has established a reputation as one of the region’s leading wine and food experiences. To win three major awards in as many weeks, just one year after the refurbishment reaffirms our position as a must-visit destination in Margaret River,” director Darren Rathbone said.
“These awards on top of some exciting recognition for the wines in recent months, is a testament to the dedication of our terrific team and a real sign of what’s to come,” he said.
