Clairault awarded ‘Most Successful Exhibitor under 250 tonnes’

By winning a gold medal, four silver medals and six bronze medals, Clairault has been awarded the trophy for the ‘Most Successful Exhibitor under 250 tonnes’ at the 2007 Qantas Wine Show of Western Australia.

“Here at Clairault, we are still celebrating the Trophy won earlier this month at the 2007 Adelaide Royal Wine Show for the Best Dry White Wine, so it is brilliant to bring another Trophy home to keep the celebrations going! We are thrilled and honoured to receive this trophy as it demonstrates that a broad range of Clairault’s straight varietal and blended wines are indeed, medal winning wines,” managing director, Bill Martin said.

“Clairault regards the Qantas Wine Show of Western Australia as one of the most significant wine shows in Australia as it only allows Western Australian wines to be entered, therefore it is a very good opportunity to benchmark our wines against our peers,” Martin said.

Created in Mount Barker 30 years ago, the Qantas Wine Show of Western Australia has earned a reputation as one of Australia’s most respected wine shows – mirroring the growth of the state’s wine industry and providing wine enthusiasts with insights into the best of Western Australia’s wines. It is the only show in Australia to exclusively judge Western Australian wines.
